The International Masters Programme in Environmental Technology and Engineering (IMETE) is an Erasmus Mundus programme in which students study in three countries: Belgium, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Participants start their study at UNESCO-IHE.

As usual, there are "windows scholarships" available to candidates from a specific country. This means that there will be at least one Erasmus Mundus grant that will be awarded to a candidate of one of the following countries: Western Balkans and Turkey, Tunisia and Egypt, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

Students from these countries are especially encouraged to apply, as they have an increased chance to obtain a grant.

The deadline for these candidates has been extended to 3 February 2012 (normal deadline for Erasmus Mundus grants Cat A is 15 January 2012).
