An introduction to the International Groundwater Centre

On Wednesday 8 February 2012 at 12:45hrs, Dr. Neno Kukuric of IGRAC (International Groundwater Centre) - the in-house partner of UNESCO-IHE - will give an introduction.

IGRAC - your portal to groundwater knowledge

The recent relocation of IGRAC (www.un-igrac.org) in the premises of UNESCO-IHE opens new opportunities for cooperation between the two in-house partners and UNESCO centres. IGRAC (The International Groundwater Resource Assessment Centre) is the UNESCO global groundwater centre, which also works under auspices of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and has a close cooperation with the International Association of Hydrogeologists. Since 2003, IGRAC provides independent content and process support to assessment, monitoring and management of internationally shared groundwaters. The centre promotes and facilitates worldwide exchange of groundwater knowledge and contributes to assessment of the global groundwater resources.

On behalf of IGRAC staff, we hope to see you all tomorrow.
