In many big cities around the world, urban flooding becomes their new enemy. Urbanization process encroach floodplains, obstructing flood ways and causing loss of natural flood storage. Not only that the increasing impervious areas such as roads, roofs and paving, due to increasing development densities lead to more run-off on the surface. Recently, in develops countries, even though they have a system to predict or forecast urban flood, this information cannot be spread to the public in time. This present study aim to develop integrated WebGIS Flood Information System, which may provide more understandable and advance information of flooding to the public so that necessary action can be taken to reduce looses cause by urban flooding. This study demonstrates the capabilities of an internet application to help people dealing with flood. This kind of system is an efficient way of disseminating encapsulated knowledge in the form of information to public using low cost and well-known medium. This system includes hardware, software, people, policies, and procedures necessary to identify a threat and act before a flood occurs.
