Learning objectives

The international fieldtrip is an exposure tour to interesting sites in Europe and is aimed to become familiar with environment-related organisations and companies in Western Europe. After completion of the fieldwork participants will be able to conduct experimental fieldwork.


Syllabus

In the Integrated Fieldwork, hydrological, chemical and biological measurements will be integrated into an overall evaluation of the water quality in a river basin in relation to land use. In addition lectures on Soil quality will be given.


Didactics

The best way to study ecology is to get hands-on experience, i.e. to carry out experiments and to go out into the field. The focus of this module is on obtaining practical experience and ready-to-use skills in analysing processes in aquatic systems.
