The Refresher Seminar on "Asset Management of Urban Water Utilities", held in Lusaka from 23 - 31 October was a complete success.
Participants stated that they enjoyed the course and what they learned can be immediately applied. Here are some excepts from participants comments:
"It was practical. It served the purpose of opening my mind to learning more of asset management in the African context. I should be able to introduce "organised" asset management in NWSC."
"The lecture competency and quality was to the standard.The exercise on Epanet was very inserting and field visit to Lusaka Water supply and sewerage service- Kafue was very interesting and a lot of lessons are drawn from it.The learning between the participants was so important."
The highlight was the final presentations done by participants. We learned from experience of each other and everyone had a valuable and relevant message.
