UNESCO-IHE has a unique program which brings people who live in Delft and the surrounding communities into contact with their International Students. We are looking for unique individuals who can contribute their time and their wisdom to join in this program.
In “Meet the Dutch” program, you will be introduced to one or two students who would be interested in meeting a “Dutch Friend” during there stay in Delft. The students live in Student Housing here in Delft and we have found a growing demand from the students who like to get an invitation to dinner, have someone to spend their birthday with, or even to explore The Netherlands.
The “Meet the Dutch” program is inviting you to join, whether you are born here in the Netherlands or in a foreign country. Studies have shown that people who have moved here from another country have a special insight about the Dutch culture, because you share similar problems or concerns. Together with the student you can explore the many hidden treasures that can be found by living in the Netherlands.
