On World Water Day, 22 March, Dutch artist and filmmaker Ap Verheggen, was nominated Cultural Ambassador to UNESCO-IHE. Verheggen became internationally known for his ‘cool(E)motion’ art project in March 2010, whereby he placed two sculptures on melting icebergs in the arctic.
