From the A13 Amsterdam–Rotterdam, take the exit ‘Delft-Noord’ and follow the signs to the city centre. After about 2 km you will see a railway viaduct ahead. Follow the road to the left. At the next junction with traffic lights go straight on. The Institute is on your left.
UNESCO-IHE has its own car park, but its capacity is very limited. Some parking spaces (with meters) are available under the railway viaduct. Visitors are advised to come by public transport.
UNESCO-IHE is easy to reach by train. At Delft Central Station, walk through the station square and turn left to cross the canal and the road. UNESCO-IHE is located just two minutes walking distance from the station.
Visitors arriving at Schiphol Airport can travel to UNESCO-IHE by train. The railway station is at Schiphol Plaza, in the centre of the airport.In some cases it is necessary to change trains at either Leiden Central Station or The Hague Holland Spoor Station.
Visitors travelling from The Hague can reach UNESCO-IHE by tram. Tram 1 has a direct connection from The Hague Holland Spoor Station to Delft Central Station. UNESCO-IHE is located just 3 minutes walking distance from the station.
